Live777 Bonus Terms and Conditions: How to Read Them Clause by Clause

Promotion terms are written by lawyers for the operator, not for the person claiming the offer. They are also the only text that counts if anything goes wrong. This page is a reading guide: it explains what the usual clauses mean, where they tend to hide and how they combine, so that you can open the terms attached to a Live777 promotion and know within a few minutes what the offer will cost you. It does not reproduce Live777's terms — the binding version is the one published on the operator's site at the moment you claim, and it can change between campaigns.

The general bonus rules underneath every offer

Most casinos keep two layers of text: general bonus rules that apply to everything, and short terms for each campaign. When the two disagree, the general layer usually says which one wins. The general layer commonly covers:

Max bet with bonus: the clause broken most often

The maximum bet clause limits the size of each stake while a bonus is running. It is the rule players break most often, and almost always by accident: a slot opens at the bet size used last time, or a quick double on a table goes over the line. Read whether the cap is per spin, per hand or per round, whether it applies to bonus-funded bets only or to every bet while the bonus is active, and what the stated consequence is.

Worked example. The terms cap stakes at US$4 (about 16,400 riel) while a bonus is active. A player places forty spins at US$2 and one at US$8 (about 32,800 riel) during a lucky run. That one spin can be enough for the whole bonus balance, including winnings from the forty compliant spins, to be removed.

Restricted games and excluded games

Two lists are easy to confuse. Excluded games simply do not count toward wagering. Restricted games may not be played with bonus funds at all, and playing them can be treated as a breach. Lists often name specific slots with a high return to player, progressive jackpots, games with a bonus-buy feature, and parts of the table and live section. The list can be long and is sometimes kept on a separate page linked from the terms, so open that link before choosing where to clear the requirement.

Sticky and non-sticky bonuses

This distinction decides how much you actually take home. A non-sticky bonus (also called a parachute bonus) keeps your own deposit separate: you play with real money first, and if you win before touching the bonus, you can usually withdraw and forfeit only the bonus. A sticky bonus is merged with your balance and is never paid out itself — it is deducted at the moment you withdraw.

Worked example. Deposit US$40 (about 164,000 riel) plus a US$40 bonus. After completing the wagering, the balance stands at US$200 (about 820,000 riel). With a non-sticky bonus the whole US$200 can be withdrawable. With a sticky bonus, the US$40 bonus is removed first and US$160 (about 656,000 riel) is withdrawable.

Max cashout on bonus winnings

A maximum cashout clause puts a ceiling on what can be withdrawn from bonus-derived winnings — most common on free spins and no-deposit offers. Whatever exceeds the ceiling is removed when you cash out. It is worth reading the cap together with the wagering: a modest ceiling turns a large requirement into a poor trade, because the upside is fixed while the betting is not.

Worked example. Free spins produce US$180 (about 738,000 riel) of winnings and the offer caps cashout at US$100 (about 410,000 riel). After wagering, US$80 (about 328,000 riel) is removed and US$100 is the most that can leave the account.

Bonus abuse clauses

Every set of terms reserves the right to cancel bonuses for "irregular play". The definitions vary, but the same patterns appear again and again: several accounts in one household or on one device; betting both red and black, or both sides of a baccarat hand, to clear wagering with little risk; lowering stakes drastically once a bonus is cleared and raising them as soon as one is active; switching to low-weighted games right before a deadline. If a pattern you use appears in the list, change it or skip the offer — the clause is written broadly so that it can be applied after the fact.

If a dispute happens

  1. Take screenshots of the promotion page, the terms version and your bonus status, with the date visible.
  2. Export or photograph your bet history for the session in question.
  3. Write to support with a short timeline and quote the exact clause you rely on.
  4. Ask for the clause they rely on, in writing — not a summary.
  5. If the answer does not resolve it, use the operator's own complaints procedure, then the regulator named in the footer of the operator's site; our complaints guide explains the order.

The legal backdrop for readers in Cambodia

Reading the terms well does not change the law around them. Under the Law on the Management of Commercial Gambling, Cambodian nationals are not permitted to gamble apart from state lotteries, there is no Cambodian licence for online casinos, and the suspension of online operations at casinos announced for October 2026 points in the same direction. A licence shown by an operator is foreign and belongs to the operator. We describe how clauses work; we do not tell anyone that playing is lawful for them.

A four-question check before any claim

If you only have a minute: what is the playthrough and its base; when does the bonus expire; what is the largest stake allowed while it is active; and which games count in full. If the terms answer all four clearly, the offer is at least readable. If any of them is missing, vague or contradicts the banner, treat that as information about the offer — and perhaps about the operator.

Bonus terms and conditions: the three clauses that cost the most

In our reading of many promotion pages, three clauses account for most lost winnings: the cap on stake size, the game list, and the maximum cashout. They are short, they sit far from the headline, and each can undo an otherwise successful session. Find all three before you opt in, and if the bonus turns out to be sticky, subtract it from your expected withdrawal in advance rather than at the cashier.

FAQ

Which version of the terms applies to my bonus?
Normally the version published when you claimed the offer. Save a screenshot or PDF of the terms on that day, because campaign pages are edited and older versions are rarely archived publicly.
What is the difference between excluded and restricted games?
Excluded games do not count toward wagering. Restricted games must not be played with bonus funds at all, and doing so can be treated as a breach of the terms.
Is a sticky bonus a bad deal?
Not automatically, but its value is lower than the headline suggests because the bonus itself is never paid out. Compare offers by what you could withdraw after wagering, not by the size of the match.
Can an operator change the terms after I claim?
Terms usually reserve that right but say changes do not affect bonuses already claimed. Your saved copy from the claim date is the best evidence if a dispute starts.
