Bank Transfer at Live777: Timing, References and Promotions

A bank transfer is the slowest-looking route in most cashiers and often the most robust one for larger sums. Its weak points are predictable: a payment reference that has to be copied exactly, banking days that do not care about a promotion's deadline, and a name on the account that must match the casino profile to the letter. For readers in Cambodia the bank on the other end may be ABA, ACLEDA, Wing Bank or another commercial bank; the mechanics below apply to all of them. Which methods appear, and their limits, depend on the account — check the cashier to see whether bank transfer is offered to you and with which details.

How to deposit by bank transfer

Choose bank transfer in the cashier and enter the amount. The cashier then shows the recipient details and, crucially, a reference or memo that ties the payment to your account. Copy the reference into the transfer exactly as shown; a transfer without it lands in a pile of unidentified payments and has to be matched by hand. Send from an account in your own name, keep the confirmation from your banking app, and opt in to any promotion before you start, not after the money has gone.

How to withdraw by bank transfer

In the withdrawal tab, choose bank transfer and enter or confirm the bank details: bank name, account number and the account holder's name, which must be identical to the name on the casino account and on your ID. Bank transfer is often the route used for the part of a payout that cannot go back to a card, and for balances above the ceiling of a QR or wallet route. After the operator's review, the transfer follows the banks' own schedule; payouts requested late on a Friday or before a public holiday tend to wait.

Banking days against promotion windows

Time-limited offers — a weekend reload, a holiday deal, a promotion that closes at midnight — usually count the moment the casino credits the deposit, not the moment you sent it. A bank transfer is the route most likely to fall into that gap, because it depends on clearing and on someone matching the reference.

Illustrative example, not a Live777 condition.

Suppose a weekend reload adds 50% to deposits of at least US$30 (about 123,000 riel) made between Friday and Sunday. You send US$40 by bank transfer late on Sunday evening; it is credited on Monday morning. The deposit arrives, but outside the window, and the US$20 bonus you expected is not attached. For deadline offers, a QR or wallet route — or simply paying a day earlier — is the safer choice.

Name matching and third-party payments

Casinos accept transfers only from accounts held by the account holder. A transfer from a relative's account, a business account or a shared account is likely to be returned or frozen, and if a bonus was attached to that deposit, the bonus usually goes with it. Spelling matters as well: a name in the bank in one order and in the casino profile in another can delay verification. Make the casino profile match the name exactly as it appears on your bank account and ID.

Fees: who charges what

Your bank may charge for an outgoing transfer, especially an international one, and a conversion margin applies if your account and the casino account are in different currencies — riel against dollars is the common case in Cambodia. The operator's own fee, if there is one, appears on the cashier confirmation screen. Because these costs are usually flat or partly flat, bank transfer suits fewer, larger payments better than many small ones.

If a transfer goes missing

Check first that the money has left your account and that the reference was included. Then contact Live777 support with the amount, the date and time, the sending bank and a screenshot of the confirmation. A transfer without a reference can still be found; it simply takes longer. If the deposit was meant to qualify for an offer, say so in the same message so the claim can be considered while the promotion is still running.

Bank transfers and bonus wagering

Once the deposit is credited and a bonus attached, nothing about the route matters any more: the wagering target, the contribution rates of the games you play, the maximum bet while the bonus is active and the expiry date are what count. It matters again at the end. A bank withdrawal requested before the wagering is finished can cancel the bonus and its winnings, and because bank payouts take longer to reach you, a cancelled request is also the slowest to unwind. Check the bonus section reads "completed" before you press withdraw.
